KAXDA DISTRICT WATER WELL PROJECT

Timiro Farah Foundation (TFF) in partnership with Amoud Foundation recently completed a major water well project in the Kaxda district of Somalia. Besides constructing the water well, the project provides motorized pumps, water storage tower, and multiple faucets stations. Kaxda is located in southern Banadir region of Somalia. The population of Kaxda district is estimated to be about 80,500 families. The new water well has been named after the late Timiro Farah Ayanle. The well is now called " Ceelka Biyaha ee Timiro Farah".  Please see the pictures and videos from the project opening event below.
