TIMIRO FARAH FOUNDATION
Changing lives, Building dreams...
Gala'de Clean Water System:
The Timiro Farah Foundation completed the construction of its first clean water project. Besides digging well, the clean water system includes motorized pumps, water storage tower, multiple faucets, and a place for animals to freely drink in a remote village that was not receiving any aid. With diligent effort and your generous support, we have completed construction of the water system in the village of Gal’ade. See the videos from Gal’ade below:
Tawakal Feeding Camp:
The foundation set up its first feeding camp in the village of Jawlo, a remote area of Northeastern Somalia, at the start of the famine. We were able to feed more than 1,400 families living within walking distance of the camp. The families being fed are some of the poorest in the area and most at risk of dying without outside help. Also donations to the foundation has helped purchase and distribute essential pharmaceuticals and medical supplies while providing emergency care to those who were severely affected by the drought. See the testimonial video below of Tawakal feeding camp.
